Our mission is to provide an Outreach to the Lost.

Here's how we accomplish our mission:

• Provide love to all hurting, lost, and forgotten children of God. 
• Share Jesus' love and good news one-on-one with those in need.
• Feed and clothe the homeless each Thursday night and throughout the week. 
• Coordinate assistance from churches and social agencies to help people in need.

The History of Lost Sheep Ministries of Louisville:

Brent Calloway, Josh May, and Kris Salyer didn't even know each other two years ago. In July of 2006 God brought the three of us together to start Lost Sheep Ministries of Louisville . Brent had volunteered for a Lost Sheep Ministry in Knoxville , Tennessee while he was attending Johnson Bible College and decided to start one in Louisville . Kris and Josh met on the streets of downtown Louisville while ministering to lost souls. We started the ministry in July 2006 and began serving meals in August 2006. Cable Baptist Church was gracious enough to allow us to use their parking lot and we started serving meals , preaching the gospel, and giving out clothing to anyone in need every Thursday night thereafter. We have been blessed with many dedicated and loyal volunteers who we could not continue this ministry without. We exist primarily to spread the word of Jesus Christ. In addition we try to assist anyone in need in any way we can. We do this to show the love of Christ and to obey his commands in Matthew 25: 31-46.

We do everything we do to glorify God and God alone, we seek no praise or credit; it is God that allows us the honor and privilege to serve him. No one within this ministry receives any type of compensation and all donations are distributed directly to people in need; free of charge. All monetary donations are used to help those in need without discrimination of any kind.

We serve weekly meals, preach the gospel, and pass out clothing every Thursday night at 7:00 pm at Cable Baptist Church in The Potter's House at the corner of Jefferson and Wenzel streets in downtown Louisville .

Right now there is a large need for men's jeans (29 - 36 waist), new men's socks, new men's underwear, and monetary donations. As always, volunteers are welcome and appreciated.
